Shrewsbury may be the county town of Shropshire but it has only recently been considered a viable business location. Inherent in this was the need to protect one of the finest mediaeval town centres in England, so development opportunities have been severely limited. Successful local companies wanting to expand were forced to look elsewhere.Fresh from developing the town’s new multiplex and leisure park, Alaska Estates, based in Shrewsbury, turned its attention to this challenge.
