"There has been much speculation as to the effect of the 2010 Revaluation, especially given the current challenging economic climate. Some prominent business leaders have even called for a postponement or cancellation of the revaluation. Meanwhile the Government, in releasing figures showing the anticipated liability effect across the whole of England, is implying that the revaluation is an event of little consequence to ratepayers."
