Argos brings in OC&C to review business
Argos has appointed OC&C Strategy Consulting to undertake a review of its business.
OC&C is understood to have been appointed to review the business as a whole which will include the extent to which its high street and shopping centre store portfolio could need to be rationalised.
The move comes after John Walden joined Argos as managing director in February. Walden has previously worked with US retailers Best Buy and Sears.
The struggling high street retailer, which trades from around 750 shops, will announce its full year results on Wednesday.
Home Retail Group, which owns Argos, declined to comment.
