A relaxing night staying in beach huts on a peninsular just off Dar Es Salaam, where we partied late last night. After all the hard work everyone was relieved and exhausted.Chilled on the beach all day and then headed back to the airport to fly home. A very tiring flight as we had to fly via Kilimanjaro and Nairobi.A fantastic trip overall and one I would recommend to anyone. We broke new territory and now all can follow. We woke again at 5am and were on our bikes by 6.30.We cycled all day over undulating hills; I would guess about 100 in all and in total our route rose 2000 metres, on some very dirty tracks. There were a few crashes as we hit sand at the bottom of steep inclines.Stopped mid morning at a school where all the kids sang for us. One of the songs was all about HIV and AIDS. The school was very basic and they said the biggest issue was a shortage ...
