Celebrating the very best in property management at the inaugural Property Week Management All-Stars.
The first ever Property Week Management All-Stars awards went off with a bang last week, as 12 of the industry’s best and brightest were crowned at Grosvenor House.
Property Week launched the awards to celebrate excellence across all areas of property management. Kicking off the inaugural awards, deputy editor Allister Hayman acknowledged that it is part of the industry that often does not get the recognition it deserves.
Yet he told the 350 guests: “While your very best work may often go unnoticed, its importance cannot be overstated. We hope that with the industry’s continued support - and the support of our fabulous array of sponsors - the PWM All-stars will soon become a fixture in the property industry’s calendar.”
The awards were hosted by Jon Culshaw, who pulled off his usual brilliant impressions before handing out the awards. Leading the charge was Broadgate Estates, which took home two trophies - Office and Industrial Managing Agent of the Year and the Sustainability Award. Top individual honours went to Danielle Kirk of Lambert Smith Hampton as she was named Rising Star of the Year for her “outside of the box thinking” while managing 31 properties for 12 clients.
Other winners included: JLL, which won Retail Property Managing Agent of the Year; Burlington Estates, which picked up the award for the Residential Block Managing Agent; and Mainstay Group, which was crowned Employer of the Year.
To cap a fabulous night, the awards, which were organised in association with Elogbooks and sponsored by Harris Associates, Yardi, Earl Kendrick, Property Debt Collection, Qube Global Software, JB Leitch and Claibon Recruitment, raised £3,000 for the charity Norwood.
