Mark Rigby has left Lambert Smith Hampton and has been replaced by former Hines and Heron director Philip Lewis.
Lewis will join as chief executive officer on 6th January. As part of other changes Guy Gregory has been promoted to commercial director and Kevin Maddern to operations director. These appointments will see them taking greater responsibility in the day-to-day running of the business.
The company said Rigby, who has been with the company for 18 years, is leaving Lambert Smith Hampton to pursue his other business interests. These include his recently announced board directorship of London Wasps Rugby Club and management of an extensive residential property portfolio.
He led the company through a management buy out with investment head Ezra Nahome in 2007.
LSH chairman Clive Williams said: ‘We all thank Mark for his contribution to the business and wish him well for the future.’
Lewis qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1978 and has worked in the property business for 36 years. He began work in 1972 as a junior surveyor at Conrad Ritblat and spent 27 years with the firm, now known as Colliers CRE where he became group chief executive.
Lewis has held a number of advisory roles chairman of Sport England.
