Ballymore gets green light for Snow Hill phases two and three
Ballymore has got the go-ahead for Birmingham’s first five star hotel as part of its Snow Hill development in the city
The 5-star hotel will form part of the 1m sq ft Snow Hill development in the city and Birmingham City Council gave detailed planning consent for phase two and three of the scheme last night.
Phases two and three include a 43-storey residential tower, a 23 storey 5-star hotel and 310,000 sq ft of offices.
The scheme, which already has planning for the first phase of offices – a 260,000 sq ft office tower part let to KPMG, will also include a 200 metre long art wall.
Work will start on the residential tower in July and the office phase will start next year.
The four-acre scheme overlooks a plaza in front of St Chad's Cathedral in the centre of Birmingham.
