Fashion retailer Bench has signed up for its first standalone store in Northern Ireland.

The skatewear brand has agreed to take 2,700 sq ft the Outlet at Bridgewater Park in Banbridge.

Bench will join existing retailers including Puma, Jaeger, Replay, and Gap at the 205,000 sq ft scheme.

The Outlet is now over 70% let and there are a further six deals in solicitor’s hands. The £70m factory outlet centre is being jointly developed by GML Estates, its parent Orana Group, and Land Securities. The Outlet is the first phase of the 1.2m sq ft Bridgewater Park scheme.

The second phase will include a 430,571 sq ft retail park. This already has planning permission and includes a 60-bedroom hotel, restaurant and petrol station.

Markham Vaughan Gillingham and DTZ McCombe Pierce are joint letting agents for the Outlet.
