Brixton has bought the old Guinness brewery site in West London to develop into an industrial park

The company, headed by Tim Wheeler is to pay Guinness owner Diageo £47.125m for the 24-acre (9.7ha) site at Park Royal in a deal set to complete before next June.

Brixton want to develop a 500,000 sq ft (46,451 sq m) industrial park on the site and development is expected to start next year.

Tim Wheeler, chief executive at Brixton said: ‘This is just the type of scheme that Brixton has been looking for to re-invest into post the £500m of sales earlier this year and is another indication of our faith and firm commitment to development and the West London market.’

Savills advised Diageo on the sales.
