Legionnaire’s architect acquitted

Gillian Beckingham, the council architect accused of causing an outbreak of Legionnaire’s disease in Barrow, has been acquitted of seven charges of manslaughter, but found guilty of one charge of breaching the Health and Safety at Work Act, at Preston Crown Court.
