Lend Lease chief operating officer, Ross Taylor has resigned from the board as executive director, and will leave the group later this year.

Taylor’s role will not be filled immediately, and though a search for a new chief operating officer began in August, a replacement has not yet been found.

The board and Taylor had ‘mutually agreed' that he would ‘no longer be a candidate for the CEO role,’ said Lend Lease chairman, David Crawford.

He added: ‘While the board and Ross agree on the overall positioning and strategic direction of the Company, following detailed discussions, there are subtle differences between us around some aspects of emphasis and execution.

‘As a result, Ross has agreed to step down but will remain with the company to assist with a smooth transition of his responsibilities prior to pursuing other corporate opportunities. Ross has had a long and distinguished career with Lend Lease.

The Board thanks him for his significant contribution to the Company and wishes Ross every success in his future endeavours.’
