Harvey Spack dies
Harvey Spack, the co-founder of out-of-town retail agency Harvey Spack Field, has died following a long illness.
Spack and Russell Field set up Harvey Spack Field, the first specialist agency in the out of town market, in 1979. Spack was previously a partner at Smith Melzack.
His clients included Carpetright founder Lord Harris of Peckham, Meadowhall co-developer Eddie Healey, Lord Kirkham, the founder of DFS, and London & Stamford’s Raymond Mould.
Following Spack’s death Lord Harris will be endowing a new cancer treatment wing at Hammersmith Hospital in his name.
Spack remained a consultant partner at Harvey Spack Field until his death last week.
Harvey Spack Field said: “He will be remembered fondly by his clients, partners and friends as well as by the many charities that benefited from his discreet and generous support.”
