Oracle Group has revealed plans for its £305m Canary Quarter scheme on the former Indescon Court site at Millharbour in London’s Docklands

Oracle, which was founded by David Bourke, is developing the 30-storey scheme south of Canary Wharf.

The development comprises 950 homes, a 120-bedroom hotel, 12,000 sq ft of retail and a small percentage of offices. Demolition of Indescon Court will begin this month.

The scheme will also serve as the new regional offices for Oracle Residential’s London & East Division, the first of five regional offices to be set up by the company in the UK.

Terry Tedder, Oracle’s regional director for London & the East, said: ‘Canary Quarter will provide approximately 250 affordable housing units, which represents 30% of the total scheme and a mixture of socially rented and shared ownership.’

Oracle owns around 13 acres of development land in the Docklands area.
