Segro reshuffles Thames Valley agents
Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed as office letting agent at Segro’s IQ Winnersh in Berkshire, replacing Cushman & Wakefield.
The move comes a fortnight after Cushman & Wakefield was appointed as letting agent at Oxford Properties’ Green Park business park in Reading, alongside DTZ. They join incumbent agent Campbell Gordon.
Jones Lang LaSalle will work alongside Vail Williams, the incumbent agents at IQ Winnersh. Cushman & Wakefield and Vail Williams remain as industrial letting agents at the park.
South east office agents have seen several high profile appointments in recent weeks. RREEF and Bell Hammer appointed Bray Fox Smith and Cushman & Wakefield to market their 66,655 sq ft speculative office development in Maidenhead this week.
Bray Fox Smith were also appointed alongside Strutt & Parker to market refurbished space at Aviva Investors’ 140,000 sq ft The Atrium on Uxbridge High Street.
Jones Lang LaSalle is set to lose its instruction on 400,000 sq ft of space at Green Park let to Cisco Systems.
The IT networking manufacturer is in advanced talks with Oxford Properties to surrender its leases on four buildings at the park.
The company signed leases for more than 600,000 sq ft across eight buildings at the park in the final weeks of the dot.com boom in 2002, but has never occupied more than a fraction of the space and has sublet some to other occupiers.
A surrender of leases was mooted with the park’s previous owners Prupim, but a deal never materialised.
