Slough Estates today announced that it has let around 1m sq ft (92,900 sq m) of office and industrial space across Europe

In Belgium, Slough and joint venture partner KBC Vastgoed have let 456,745 sq ft (42,433 sq m) at Rumst Logistics Park, located off the E19 motorway connecting Antwerp with Brussels, to Exel on a 10-year lease.

Slough has also let a further 30,451 sq ft (2,829 sq m) at Pegasus Park, which is close to Brussels airport, to existing tenants Trifinance and Cognos, and to new tenant Alten Axen.

It has also agreed terms with a European hotel developer to develop a 129,168 sq ft (12,000 sq m) hotel and office scheme at Pegasus Park.

In Slough’s German portfolio, flat-roof specialist Bauder has taken 46,672 sq ft (4,336 sq m) on a 10 year-lease in Darmstadt near Frankfurt, while TRW Automotive has agreed to occupy 134,948 sq ft (12,537 sq m) in Saarbrücken in south-west Germany.

In addition, sportswear company Asics has signed up to take 30,957 sq ft (2,876 sq m) on a 10-year lease at an annual rent of around €100,000 (£69,272) near Düsseldorf. North of Frankfurt, Hess Natur Textilien has signed a 14-year lease on a 13,562 sq ft (1,260 sq m) extension at a former Karstadt property.

In Poland, Slough has agreed to develop a 102,258 sq ft (9,500 sq m) warehouse in Strykow for Azymut. The publisher will occupy the space for a minimum of 10 years.

Slough has also let 69,966 sq ft (6,500 sq m) to an undisclosed UK healthcare company at its new logistics site in Poznan, near the motorway connecting Berlin with Warsaw.

In France, marking and coding systems distributor Codico has agreed to take 40,774 sq ft (3,788 sq m) at Slough’s Le Blanc Mesnil scheme in Paris. In addition, Conseil Général des Haut-de-Seine has taken 62,463 sq ft (5,803 sq m) at the Avenue Francois Arago scheme in Nanterre. It is taking the space on a nine-year lease at an annual rent of €1.5m (£1.04m).
