St Modwen has bought a 4.5 acre site in Letchworth Garden City from the Letchworth Heritage Foundation.

The site, which formerly housed a power station, will now be developed into an office and industrial scheme with more than 80,000 sq ft of accommodation.

St Modwen intends to submit a planning application for the site before the end of the year.

It is the first aqcuisiton by St Modwen’s new Northern Home Counties office.
