Given the property industry’s propensity for enjoying fast living and the finer things in life, Metropolis was surprised to learn that there was a gaping hole in the market for a classic car-racing club.
But now, that space in the fast lane has been speedily closed by Ramon Lorenzo and Nick Dare’s new Property Road Racing Club.
Dare keeps it compact as he sums up the idea as “a vehicle for those of us with an interest in vintage rides to head off to venues with a property and motoring-related slant like the redeveloped Second World War airbases or Brooklands”.
With plans for quarterly road trips already gathering steam, the club’s space is likely to fill up faster than a little red Corvette and property petrolheads are encouraged to pull up at prrc.co.uk. Those who do will have double the reason to want no property crashes in 2017.
