Sharia firms make concessions for Ramadan

Last Wednesday marked the start of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, during which Muslims fast during daylight hours. Fasting is common at sharia-compliant property funds and investment banks, which often make allowances for employees who wish to come in late and leave early to conserve energy.
