The Duke of Edinburgh last week opened the Crown Estate’s Savill Building at Windsor Great Park, whose roof is the world’s largest timber gridshell structure. The building houses a shop, restaurant, seminar rooms and offices, and was designed by Glenn Howells Architects. Engineer Buro Happold designed the roof.
