NARA is the professional association for Property and Fixed Charge Receivers.

Fellows of NARA are fully qualified Registered Property Receivers who have successfully met the qualification requirements of the Joint Registration Committee established by the RICS and Insolvency Practitioners Association. NARA also welcomes as Associate members other professionals who are actively involved in the insolvency business and offers Trainee membership to those aspiring to qualify as RPRs.

NARAplays a key role in liaising with government, professional and trade associations and lenders on matters concerned with property receivership under the Law of Property Act 1925. NARA offers focused training leading to RPR qualification and NARA Fellowship and organises CPD for all existing members, other professionals and lenders.

NARA is dedicated to ensuring that business, the public and lenders have confidence in the professionalism and competence of its members, who are required to comply with NARA’s published Code of Practice and Practice Statements. Members are regulated via their professional body. Depth of knowledge and expertise amongst NARA members forms a valuable pool of resources which may be accessed via regularly updated Guidance Notes and a Members’ Helpline service maintained for the benefit of members and their clients.
