Akers set to take up chair at Redrow

Former Landsec director Richard Akers has been appointed non‐executive chairman of housebuilder Redrow.

Akers, who has also been a director at Barratt Developments, will join Redrow as chair‐designate before taking over from John Tutte at the top of the board table after the company’s full-year results on 15 September.
