Uncertain climate puts brakes on occupier moves

UK office occupiers are adopting a ‘stay put’ attitude in response to ongoing political and economic uncertainties, suggests Irwin Mitchell’s latest occupier survey.

In spring 2016, just before Brexit, 22% of the companies that responded to the survey said they intended to change premises, but that percentage has dropped to 11.5% this year as occupiers take a more cautious approach.
