Quintain has announced two further restaurant lettings at its London Designer Outlet in Wembley.

At BCSC the developer announced it had secured lettings to Pizza Express, which will take a 3,579 sq ft store on a 20-year lease, and Prezzo, which will take a 2,927 sq ft store on a 25-year lease.

The restaurants will join Frankie & Benny’s, Handmade Burger Co and Jimmy Spice’s.

In total 15 new restaurants will open at the 85-acre development, alongside 85 designer retail units and Cineworld, which has already signed a 25-year lease for a nine-screen cinema.

Construction is due to start on site later this year and complete in 2013.

Phil Cotingham, managing director of retail at Quintain, said: “More than 30% of the restaurant space (NIA) has now been taken. The high level of interest from top quality operators reflects the success of food and beverage in designer outlets over the last 1o years.

“We are now focused on securing our retail anchors – with a number of deals already in advanced stages of negotiation. We then will target the aspirational designer brands, as well as the emerging fashion and lifestyle labels looking to take their first step into the designer outlet sector.”

Letting agents for the scheme are CB Richard Ellis and Bruce Gillingham Pollard.
