Argent partner Robert Evans and the head of PRS infrastructure at Homes England, Sophie White, are among the latest new speakers confirmed for the all-new RESI Convention.
Evans is returning to RESI having spoken in 2015 about public-private partnerships. Since becoming a founding partner when Argent became an LLP in 2012, Evans has been at the forefront of the planning work and residential developments at King’s Cross and is on the King’s Cross Central Limited Partnership Board. He is also the chair of the British Property Federation’s Development Committee.
At RESI, Evans form part of Thursday 13 September’s closing Question Time -style session alongside Donagh O’Sullivan, chief executive at Galliard Homes, and Geeta Nanda, chief executive at Metropolitan, recapping key talking points from the day.
Earlier on day two of the Convention, White will take part in a breakout session on the funding landscape within the residential sector. She is currently in charge of allocating investments from Homes England’s £3bn homebuilding fund, which won financier of the year at this year’s RESI Awards. The judges at the RESI Awards praised the “breadth and scale of financing” Homes England has provided to developers large and small.
