Theresa May’s time in power came at one of the most pivotal moments in the country’s history and no one has more insight into what went on behind the door at No. 10 during her reign than her former director of communications Robbie Gibb, who has been confirmed as a speaker at RESI 2019.

After a long career in journalism, Gibb took up the advisory role just after the 2017 general election and stayed by May’s side until the bitter end.

As the country wings its way towards a parliamentary suspension and an increasingly hard-looking Brexit, Gibb’s insight into the politics behind the politics is not to be missed.

He will be joined by speakers including Grand Designs presenter Kevin McCloud and Nicholas Boys Smith, co-chair of the Building Better, Building Beautiful Commission.

Local authorities and housing associations are eligible for free passes to RESI, which will take place at the Celtic Manor Resort on 11-13 September.
