As a private developer specialising in affordable private starter homes in London, we have created more than 500 new, affordable homes for first-time buyers in the past year alone, something that has been made possible thanks to another government decision on permitted development rights (PDR), which was finally made permanent only last month.
This latest announcement by the government is another step in the right direction for Britain’s millions of would-be homeowners who are looking to take their first step on the property ladder.
