AXA IM makes Japanese debut with ¥100bn logistics acquisition

AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets has formed a joint venture with ESR, a leading Asia-Pacific logistics real estate platform, and a sovereign wealth fund to acquire a portfolio of six logistics assets in Japan for over ¥100 billion (£720m).

The new JV will seek further investment and development opportunities across Japan’s major cities, using commitments from existing and potentially new investors. It will target logistics facilities with secure long term returns.
