Barratt cancels annual dividend as Covid-19 slashes profit by 46%

Barratt Developments has told investors it is not yet the right time to resume paying a dividend as it revealed a 46% slump in annual profit for the year to the end of June.

The FTSE 100-listed housebuilder posted a pre-tax profit of £491.8m for the year, down from £910m 12 months earlier.
