Berkeley chosen to develop £2.2bn Birmingham estate

The development of the Ladywood Estate in Birmingham will take around 20 years to complete

Berkeley Group’s St Joseph Homes business has won the tender to become development partner for the regeneration of the vast Ladywood Estate in Birmingham.

Subject to cabinet ratification on 27 June by Birmingham City Council, Birmingham-based St Joseph will sign an agreement to redevelop a residential neighbourhood including around 7,000 new homes.
