Berkeley on target to hit profit forecast

Upmarket housebuilder Berkeley Group has told investors it is on target to meet its annual profit forecast ahead of the group’s annual general meeting on Tuesday.

In a trading update for the period from May to the end of August the group confirmed it was on track to produce a pre-tax profit for the year to the end of April 2023 of between £600m and £625m.
