Berkeley reveals robust half year figures

Upmarket housing developer Berkeley has posted a 26% leap in first half profit as the relaxation of Covid restriction boosted development and sales.

For the six months to the end of October Berkeley made a pre-tax profit of £290.7m, compared to £230.8m at the same point last year.
