Berkeley takes 35% profit hit as Covid-19 bites

Upmarket housebuilder Berkeley Group has confirmed plans to postpone a £455m payout to investors by two years due to the uncertainty created by the Covid-19 health crisis.

The developer also reported a sharp fall in profit and revenue during the year to the end of April.
