Bovis completes £1.1bn deal for Galliford’s housebuilding arm

Bovis Homes has completed the £1.1bn cash and shares deal to buy Galliford Try’s housebuilding business.

Bovis will, as a result of the deal, change its name to Vistry Group. The new branding will be used for both the enlarged group’s housebuilding and partnerships businesses.
