British Land sees customer surge at retail parks following relaxation of lockdown

British Land has revealed a surge in rent collection rates as May’s easing of lockdown restrictions resulted in customers flocking to its retail parks.

The group has collected 85% of June’s £87m rent bill, with 71% of retailers paying up.
