Developer Bruntwood has reported a 62% rise in annual profits to £116m in the year to September 2018 having grown its portfolio to £1.3bn over the period.
In what Bruntwood described as a “milestone year”,the company formed a 50:50 joint venture with Legal & General to create Bruntwood SciTech, the largest science and technology-focussed property platform in the UK. It is targeting to expand to over 6m sq ft with a valuation of over £2.5bn over the next 10 years, adding to Bruntwood’s existing assets including life sciences campus Alderley Park.
