Residential property tycoon Nick Candy has confirmed he has joined forces with Saudi Aradia’s Public Investment Fund to launch a bid for Earls Court and Covent Garden owner Capital & Counties (Capco).
In a statement this morning Candy Ventures, the tycoon’s investment vehicle, told investors that “it is in the early stages of considering a possible cash offer” for the FTSE 250 property business, run by Ian Hawksworth.
