Capital & Counties Properties (Capco) and Shaftesbury have extended the Stock Exchange deadline by which a formal offer must be made on their £3.5bn merger.
Last month the groups agreed the deal that would bring London tourist destinations Covent Garden and Soho into a single West End property giant.
