Countryside completions up, but prices down

Countryside’s Great Kneighton scheme in Cambridge

Housebuilder Countryside Properties has revealed a leap in completion for the first half of its financial year.

In the six months to the end of March, total completions were up 15% to 1,655 units. However, the group’s average selling price (ASP) was down 11% at £392,000. This was largely due to the partnerships division, in which ASP was £308,000, down from £368,000.
