Countrywide warns on first half earnings

Countrywide, the troubled residential and commercial property agency group, has warned investors its earnings will fall at the bottom end of its expectations during the first half of the year.

The group had previously reported that its earnings in the first half of the year would be down between £3m and £5m, but ahead of its annual general meeting this morning warned “we anticipate that H1 adjusted EBITDA will now be around £5m lower year on year”.
