Crédit Agricole finances Henderson Park's historic €550m Paris hotel purchase

Westin Paris-Vendôme

Investor Henderson Park has completed the €550m (£484m) acquisition of one of Paris’ most historic hotels, the Westin Paris-Vendôme, from Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC having secured a senior financing package from Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (CACIB).

The 428-room Westin Paris-Vendôme, which will continue to operate under the Westin brand after Henderson Park agreed a deal with Marriott International, occupies a large island site across a full city square block in Paris’ 1st arrondissement, next to the Place Vendôme and Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. The hotel, originally opened in 1878 as the Hotel Continental, also includes three restaurant and bar outlets alongside three salons, a fitness centre and a spa.
