Custodian hit by retail woes

David Hunter of Custodian REIT

Net asset value (NAV) and profit at Custodian REIT slipped in the first half of the year as it was hit by turmoil in the retail market and continued political uncertainty.

NAV per share total return was 0.5% for the six months to the end of September, down from 4.3% at the same point last year. The slowdown was driven by a 2.6% fall in the value of the portfolio to £547m.
