Rental income at Segro surged 43% in the first nine months of the year as demand for logistics space from online retailers continued to grow.
Segro said it collected total headline rent for the first nine months of the year of £52m, compared to £36.4m in the same period in 2017. However, the vacancy rate during the third quarter increased to 5.2%, up from 4.8% a year ago, mostly due to completion of speculative developments during the period.
