Emoov boss calls on Countrywide to consider ‘all paper’ merger

The founder of Emoov has called on Countrywide boss Peter Long to engage in merger talks with the online estate agent, Property Week can reveal.

Speaking to Property Week, Russell Quirk, founder and chief executive of Emoov, said he believes an “all-paper merger” with Countywide, which saw its shares plunge 28% yesterday after issuing another profit warning, would create an “unbeatable” agency proposition.
