Arrow Capital has assembled an experienced team led by two former executives at Valad Europe to expand into Europe.
Former Valad Europe chief executive Martyn McCarthy will team up with Christian Bearman, who also worked at Valad before becoming European chief executive at Situs early in 2017, in an effort to establish the AMB Capital-backed investor in Europe.
McCarthy is a managing partner and founding partner of Arrow Capital, while Bearman is European partner. Bearman said Arrow Capital would look to the UK regardless of the Brexit outcome as it presents “good investment opportunities, [at] the correct entry point”. It will mark the first European investments for one of Australia’s largest family offices, AMB.
