Hammerson has beaten first-half forecasts with as chief executive Rita-Rose Gagné’s strategy shift resulted in a recovery in the retail property group’s fortunes.
The group reported that it swung back to a first-half profit as footfall recovered to near pre-pandemic levels and costs fell.
