Green REIT's Vernon takes 5% stake in Staycity

Irish property entrepreneur and Green REIT co-founder Steven Vernon has taken a 5% stake in Staycity, the aparthotel group.

Vernon’s John Pollard Foundation has acquired the shareholding in the company. He will join the Staycity board as a non-executive director and plans to take an active role by working with chief executive and co-founder Tom Walsh to help the group hit its growth targets.
