Hammerson shares rise as uncertainty over intu bid grows

Hammerson’s shares climbed 2.98% on Monday to 487.15p following a tumultuous few days for the company that saw Klepierre abandon its takeover bid and a number of major investors publically state their opposition to the intu deal.

Conversely intu closed 4.87% down at 208.30p as doubt was cast over Hammerson’s apporach to the company.
