House of Fraser is set to close more than half its 59 department stores, which could lead to the loss of 6,000 jobs, as another CVA hits the UK high street.

If the plan to close 31 stores, which involves two CVAs, is approved, 2,000 House of Fraser jobs will be lost, along with 4,000 brand and concession positions.
