Investec backs students digs with £53.5m loan

Scape 2 in Guildford

Investec Structured Property Finance has provided a joint venture between Scape UK and HG Construction with a £53.5m loan to fund the development of a 403-bed student block and 113 Co-Living units in Guildford.

The scheme, Scape Surrey 2, sits on the east border of the main University of Surrey campus and is scheduled to open for the 2020/21 academic year, with the Co-Living element following in 2021.
