Landlords face high street hit as Sir Philip Green’s Arcadia teeters on brink of collapse

Sir Philip Green’s Arcadia group could fall into administration as early as today in the biggest blow to the high street during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Plans for an emergency £50m loan from Mike Ashley’s Frasers group are understood to have fallen through, putting more than 500 stores and around 13,000 jobs in jeopardy.
